Well, for anyone in need there are other places that offer assistance. Some of these churches are much smaller and so, you should understand that they probably can't help much with rent or similar expenses. With rents in the Austin area being high, I would think that even larger churches are having trouble meeting that specific need. There are ways that people in need can help the church just as the church can help them. Donate 10% of your time or If you have a service you can offer a church who can help you financially, maybe offer your service for a time, which may allow the church to save money that is normally paid to have the service. In example, some churches use professional cleaning companies for all of their cleaning. This can be very costly. If you have a cleaning business, donating the work/time back can save a few costly cleanings. If they are saving money by people giving back their time, they are better able to help others in need. Just a thought.

Several churches in the Cedar Park/Leander/Jonestown/Lago Vista area offer food pantries and clothing. These churches include Twin Lakes, St. Margaret Mary, Church on the Hill, and Rolling Hills Community Church. I am not familiar with hours of operation for each but wanted to extend this to anyone in need and looking for information.
