We really enjoyed our stay at Aloft. The atmosphere was less stodgy than the older hotels downtown and the location was great, with (relatively) inexpensive parking, greenspace, and an Izzy's ice cream nearby. The room itself was nicely appointed, and refreshingly modern. My only complaint is that the bathroom door didn't close all the way. Even without that feature, the bathroom is fairly integrated into the room: the intimacy makes the room most suitable for couples or very close friends. One of the features we found helpful was a complimentary shuttle within a 5 Mile radius of the hotel. Overall, a more than satisfactory stay.
