I initially contacted the company on 25 AUG and was sent a video link to a flat. The Zoopla website stated that the flat was under offer, but I decided to go with it anyway. I was asked to submit a full application. This included a credit check before I had even viewed the property but no references. I was expecting new processes due to Covid, but this one still struck me as strange. The entire process took three (!) weeks in which I was certain I was the only applicant. At the viewing I was finally told somebody else was applying, and this person also got the property. During the application process, the company refused to take calls and were not transparent. Apparently the decision was the landlord's, but I am still waiting for their justification. The epitome of a time waster.
