I made a Tee time and told whoever I spoke to that I was going to be bringing my 3 year old son with me and he was going to hit a ball every now and then, I was told this would not be a problem. When I got to the course to check in the woman at the check in told me that my son could not go with me unless he only stayed in the cart and he was not permitted on the course at all. I was then informed it is their policy that children must be 7 years or older to step foot on the course. I have had my son on public, private, and municipal courses with me since he was 2 and never run into this problem. If you have kids under 7 who want to golf with you don't bother going to Westwoods. While most golf courses go out of their way to promote youth golf Westwoods fails.
