I have a thing against assigned seating movie theaters because i'm a sporadic movie goer and like to just arrive and see a movie.
This experience may have changed my life forever. The directors suite was one of the coolest things I've ever spent 22 dollars on. The people were nice, and helpful in the actual suite and it was just fun to be there and have great service.
the movie was sub par. And the kid that I bought my popcorn and drink from at the counter downstairs seemed like he would rather be literally anywhere else, and had a little buddy who wouldn't shut up and let him work. It was kind of annoying for the kid to be telling him a story and for me to have to interrupt them with my order, and then he was able to go back to his story.
I worked at a movie theater for 2 years. I get it. but come on, this is the nicest theater I had ever been to, and I felt like even the concession stand Employees should be working to make it an incredible experience.
I almost told the kid to shut up but I feel like I embarrass my friends too much already to be confrontational at a snack bar
