Scampy was a beautiful black beagle. A little mutt. My 1st baby. I had to neuter him, get him shots. I couldn't afford the price charged by my local vet. I got to love him for around a year when while we were out for a walk, he fell over on his side, foaming at the mouth, his whole body shaking. Those times I turned to the lovely people at Anti-Cruelty for help in my time of need, as they have helped so many. Services were not free, but at a reduced price. Charity rates are available for special circumstances. If there is anywhere that tries to rehabilitate the difficult, the ill, it's here. Owner requested euthanasia is a last resort. They offer pet loss support. Behavior training for dogs. Adoption services for cats and dogs. Charity veterinary services. Vaccinations. Emergency shelter. Humane investigations of abuse.
