Make sure to read through all their payment terms....
Make sure to read through all their payment terms...but not the terms listed as "Terms and Conditions" on their own webpage? They aren't the actual terms they tell me afterwards?
They post on their site "terms and conditions" the following:
"Unless otherwise specified by a listing or a marketplace, credit cards and PayPal accounts may be accepted for up to $10,000."
They do not actually accept anything but cash for more than $5000 is what I am told by their customer service?...not told until after the auction is completed and payment is due. There were no credit card or paypal limits listed in the auction. Called customer service and they spoke to finance and they were willing to do nothing. They say I should of called customer service for the terms before the auction.....not read their website's and specific auction's terms and conditions. No where did it say that they have different terms than their own terms and to call. I read through their site multiple times.
Now I don't have the 45 days the credit payment gives me for allowing resell time, I lose 2% cash back on the credit card, over 7000 points lost (approximately $70), and I have to pay for a wire transfer....Basically turns an 8% buyers premium into a 12%-13% premium because of their deception. I do not recommend using their sites as they don't have real terms.
I am trying to pay them and they won't accept their own terms for payment....what a joke? Go to the other auction sites and have better luck at reputable places such as GencoMarketplace.
