My family was there over the weekend. It was our third visit. Saturday was super crowded; we waited up to 1-1/2 hours for rides and the wave pools were packed with people. The ride operators were slow and inefficient. Sunday was much quieter. My husband and son rode the Storm Chaser 2x in a row with minimal wait in between!

The ticket prices were excellent. We purchased the out-of-town special of $29.99 for 2 days, including free drinks. Overall, we had a nice time. However, Kentucky Kingdom needs to train their staff (looked like mainly high school or College kids) on hospitality skills! Greeting your customer is a nice place to start. The food court staff are sloooow! They have no sense of urgency and some were standing around chit chatting with one another while huge lines of people were waiting for their food. We waited almost an hour to get tacos and drinks.

Also, my husband forgot his credit card at one of the roller coaster rides after purchasing a photo. By the time he realized it and went back for it, the card had already been sent to Guest Services. They told him to grab it at the end of the day. When we went to Guest Services, we were told it wasn't there and that they didn't know anything about it. There was no sense of urgency or empathy. After about 30 minutes, it dawned on the gal that perhaps it could be at their other guest services location. Seriously?! Wouldn't that be the obvious place to look after you couldn't find it at YOUR location?!?! We didn't realize there were two locations! After another 10 minutes, the gal returned with my husband's credit card in hand. There was no apology for their inefficiency. Just "here you go". The way they handled our issue does not give me much confidence about how they would handle a true emergency.
