In 1937-1941 built the Olympic Stadium. project M. Grechina. The official opening was planned in 1941, but opened 5 years later, after the end of World War II. The stadium was rebuilt several times in the 60s and before the 1980 Olympiad, before EURO 2012. In 1981, near the stadium opened the metro station.
