We were planning a project to have a new exterior door put in for our walk out basement. I had heard really good things about Pella regarding their service, products, and pricing, so I set up an estimate on their online scheduler for a Saturday (one of my two days off per week). I called the Friday afternoon before to confirm that my appointment was still on because I never received a confirmation email (neither in my inbox nor junk). The person who answered the phone was very pleasant and checked everything, confirming my time and date. The next day, I waited around for someone to call me or show up, but after an hour and a half past my appointment time I still had not heard from or seen anyone. I called the office again and asked what happened (they didn't know, but I don't blame them for that). The person who answered (a different person from the first time) was, again, very nice and helped reschedule me. I made an appointment for the following Saturday, same time. Again, I did not receive a confirmation email of any kind. I called today (the Friday before my appointment) to confirm again for my second attempt at an appointment. As usual, the person who answered was very kind and efficient, but informed me that the last person who put in my appointment put it in for Tuesday (4 days from now). I will be at work so that would not work out for me. The office person attempted to help me reschedule but at this point I am pretty disappointed in the service and time I have spent just trying to get someone out to my house. We would have liked to have had an estimate done by now and scheduling for a job, but I unfortunately think we will be looking for another company to work with so we can get the ball rolling before the thick of winter hits. Wish this would have worked out differently.
