Disappointing. Was really looking forward to a treat, especially after seeing it featured in a Mr and Mrs Smith travel book. We went at 3pm to sample the afternoon tea and were shown to an interesting old hunting lodge type of room. I thought this was going to be modern but it was old and fusty. We were given three finger sandwiches which felt like they had been out all day and were a bit hard on top and tasted of nothing special. The scones were lovely and fresh. The cakes were ok and nothing special. My problem is that at the price we were paying they should have been very special indeed! Dissapointed, will not recommend it and will not return!
