It was a nightmare of an experience. The hotel elevator caught on fire at midnight. We stood outside in our pajamas for 2 and 1/2 hours wondering what was going on. Several fire trucks came and there were a lot of firemen on the roof. Everyone had to evacuate the hotel and they gave us no help finding other hotels. We did not even get an apology from the manager. We will be sending letters to the company and we expect a refund and something for our inconvenience. We each got 2 hours sleep last night and we had to be on the road early in the morning. The Management's lack of support for finding new accommodations was astounding.
