Full disclosure I am relatively new to steakhouses so please take that into consideration. We tried to stop by for happy hour before a Kings game but Unfortunately, we missed it since it only goes to 6pm even though research told us 7pm.

We sat in the bar area and the service was ok. The waiter was very friendly and kind, he even gave us a bread basket when we asked. We ordered the sliced filet mignon and potato waffle and crispy brussels sprouts and bacon.

Everything was good. The brussels sprouts a bit heavy due to the bacon but still yummy. The filet mignon was cooked medium as per the chef's suggestion and was fine as was the potato waffle this dish was a perfect size for 2 to share. I m glad we also asked for the bread since it was tasty and came with whipped butter and seasonal pumpkin butter.

You ll find your standard steakhouse ambiance with TVs at the bar, white tablecloths in the dining room, a large wine list, and higher price points.

With so many options at LA Live, I don t know if I d run back unless craving a steak but a very nice touch at the end was that they gave my friend a little truffle box since we were also celebrating her birthday.
