I engaged this company to provide a medico legal independent report writer/report on behalf of a plaintiff action against a negligent dentist. They recommended I use Dr Brendan Nasser. They quoted $1675 + GST for a standard assessment/report. They then add charges for reading of $230 + GST for every 15 minutes of reading. The material I supplied would have taken an ordinary professional no more than 30 minutes to read and consider. They claimed 3 hours to read and as such the cost of the report was near $5,000 - an outrageous sum. Particularly when you take into account that the report also completely shut down my case because it was so biased in favour of the negligent dentist. Dr Brendan Nasser produced a report that was so biased in support of his dental colleague that it was illogical and nonsensical. There was not one aspect of his so called "independent" report that supported the plaintiff's position. His report contained numerous factual errors (so much for the 3 hours of reading) and his conclusions all supported his dental colleague respondent. It was blatantly biased in all respects and he did not record any fact or piece of evidence in the report which did not support his biased conclusions. If you are seeking a report to help a negligent dentist this is the guy for you otherwise steer clear as you'll get a rude shock if you expect an independent and non-biased opinion. Perhaps better to use a maxillofacial surgeon as an expert instead. Needless to say when I sought an accounting and explanation in respect of the alleged 3 hours of reading or the extremely biased report none was forthcoming from the company. I'll never use this company or recommend them.
