Not very impressed with the way things went with this company. My Mortgage broker told me that our financing bank requires an appraisal on the home we were purchasing. Sure no problem... I was charged an extra $100 just to expedite the home appraisal, which I realize now was just a money grab. I was charged almost $500 in total. I also had to fight with them to obtain a copy of the home appraisal that I paid for.

If your financial institution is suggesting using this company I would find another financial institution to work with.

I ended up using a different mortgage broker, and a new financial institution. They also required a home appraisal, but I didn't have to pay, and it was still done the next day.

They pretty much took my money. I had no choice in which company to use for the home appraisal as it was who the financial institution wanted to use.

The home appraisal also came in less than expected.

The financial institution was Street Capital.
