I attended Anasazi as a young walker back in 1994-1995, and my little sister also attended Anasazi as a young walker a decade later. I also have several friends who attended the program themselves, or who have sent their own children to Anasazi in recent years.

I can unequivocally say that Anasazi is a wonderful organization that provides invaluable learning opportunities, wilderness survival and life skills, and enduring personal growth to anyone fortunate enough to be able to attend the program. Far from the "boot-camp" types of youth reform or rehab programs you might imagine or expect from a program that takes "troubled teens" and routinely turns lives around, Anasazi provides young walkers with a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors, wilderness survival skills, self-confidence, and an opportunity to slow life to a pace that allows one to make intentional decisions about their choices and the course of their lives.

I've consistently recommended the program and its philosophy to friends and colleagues for their teens, and I'd eagerly send my own sons to the Anasazi program should the opportunity arise.

I'm not affiliated with the program in any way, so if you have any questions you'd like to ask of someone impartial, feel free to ask.
