This is one of the great UK universities and its influence certainly goes far beyond the classroom. Despite the strong brand, the school tries hard to maintain its status as a world leading institution by attracting top talent and heavily investing in the areas of infrastructure. This did not go unnoticed during my time there.All in all, think of all the things that a student wants from a university and it is hard to identify one area where the LSE does not deliver.

I certainly am satisfied with the school.

Just to be on the safe side, at least for the postgraduate courses the LSE experience -as with most UK universities- is one where the student is expected to be to a large degree autonomous with relation to studying and covering ground on the courses. This is part of the teaching philosophy in the UK. As such it can sometimes feel atomized an experience and might contrast with the norm in other countries.
