Was very disappointed from our visit yesterday.

We have been visiting Leeds Castle for many years. Our children use to enjoy scooter/bike ride and we use to enjoy a meal with a glorious view.

All that left of it is view. They have banned bikes/ scooters, etc, without explanation with regards to the reasons. Somebody once said it is to avoid accidents. Well, from 10 years going there we had not even once experienced or witnessed any accidents, involving children on bikes or scooters, etc. I think soon, they would ban children altogether, these little people like to run (this might cause a serious accident!)

The Fairfax restaurant: the selection of food was very poor; children could only choose from two types of pasta (with some sauces) And there was no carvery offered.
Overall, very basic meals.

We have also noted, that all the restaurants/cafes were closed just after 4. A big disappointment for our kids, who wanted to buy some ice cream.

All in all, it is a shame witnessing that the services went down. I would not say it is family friendly and, judging by how quiet it was, probably other people agree.
