This Saladworks - when it was at Sawmill Village- was always a favorite for me and my family. Not sure what happened when they moved across the street to Barclays. Today (Saturday), I went over to get early dinner for family. Sign says closed at 4 (why?) but I got there by 3:50. I wanted to get soups and salads. The girls (not the courteous adults that worked at Barclays) behind the counter said soups were already put away..( We always put them away 15 minutes early. ) I said we really wanted soups, but the head girl wouldn t budge. Okay then the salads. Many of the ingredients were not on display. One girl scooped out pasta from under a counter (who knows where?). The mesclun lettuce was not in sight, so I agreed to the romaine out of a big vat. I said that it wasn t even 4pm, so what was the rush? No answer there. When I got home, my receipt showed that I had be charged for 2 items which were substitutes. I had said no olives and no noodles, and subbed in tomatoes and sunflower seeds. (Tomatoes turned out to be less than fresh.) Charged extra $1.58 for those two ingredients. Really. Next time will try a diff salad place, like Honeygrow. This was just ridiculous.
