Hello everyone, my name is Sumedh Deshpande. I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune in 2015. I graduated with distinction and decided to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree from University of Southern California, Los Angeles in the field of mechanical design. I graduated in 2017 and am currently looking for a job in India.
I have appeared for several interviews and realized that companies desire candidates who can demonstrate industry oriented skills. Having expertise in domain specific industry training boosts your opportunities to land a job in your desired field. It also provides a certain degree of satisfaction on job.
Suggestions from industry experts and a substantial amount of browsing on the internet was how I came across IKSC Knowledge Bridge (IKSC). IKSC Knowledge Bridge is one of its kind Institute that offers a variety of industry oriented training programs. IKSC does not just help in acquiring a job but also guides you to seek jobs that will provide satisfaction and happiness in your career.
As part of self-improvement, IKSC offers a psychometry test. This test helps us understand ourselves and reflects upon our strengths and weaknesses. As a part of any design process, one needs to define a problem to find a solution. Similarly, one needs to understand himself/ herself to improve and succeed.
My test results indicated my inclination towards theoretical, data-driven motivations. Analyzing my results helped me confirm my interest and motivation in Research & Development field. Motivation plays a crucial role in success. Thus, I chose a training course at IKSC that helps me progress in my career path. T have opted for training in Product Engineering (which includes Design of automotive BIW parts and Verification including crash and impact analysis). The course encompasses design software such as Creo 3.0, Catia V5 and analysis software such as Ansys, LS-DYNA and Abacus. It uses Hypermesh as a tool for mesh generation and improvement. The course also provides training in NPI (New Product Introduction), DFM (Design for manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and Quality standards. IKSC also focuses on soft skill and employability enhancement.
The training follows an E-learning approach. This approach is beneficial since it provides the flexibility to attend lectures and training at hours convenient to the individual. Also, in case of a need to clarify difficult concepts, students can revisit the structured lectures to clarify doubts. This along with personal mentoring by Managing Director of IKSC, Mr. Atul Patil, guarantees improvement. You are provided with an opportunity to work on a variety of projects. Currently, I spend 5 to 6 hours daily at IKSC. The time I spend at IKSC has helped me in my overall development. I have gained technical knowledge and improved upon my soft skills.
I thank IKSC for all their hard work and guidance. To any of my friends seeking help and guidance in their career, I will recommend IKSC training programs.
Hope this review helps you and serves to lead your career to success.
Thank You.
