Southern Comfort & Hospitality from Hilton - the people are the true charm to this place and they are sure to take care of you. Their welcomes are just as warm and sweet as their signature cookie. The front desk staff is helpful and humorous, the restaurant staff makes you feel at home, and the Director of Sales (Rick) is the Host of Hosts.

Although I experienced an issue with housekeeping failing to service my room a couple days, the front house staff was prompt and professional in resolving the matter. And on the days I did receive service it was top notch. As a former Hilton employee, and now frequent guest, I know the standards of service and what to expect from Hilton. For the same reason I also understand that imperfections are inevitable. For me, the real measure of service is in attitude and the ability to resolve. I m leaving happy and without feeling as though I was cheated. For those reasons I give the Doubletree Columbia, SC 5 stars.
