This museum was a lot of fun, bridging generational gaps through a shared love of pop culture. There were exhibits honoring Seattle natives Kurt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix as well as several famous movie props from Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and several others. At the time of my visit there was also an exhibit for Marvel comics with several movie props and costumes as well as original comic art and a history of comics and the Marvel brand. This exhibit is great for either those who enjoy the movies or those that enjoy comics. The MoPOP museum was exciting and lively, and certainly worth a return trip. Tickets are a bit pricey, however they do offer student discounts and it is an optional part of the Seattle City Pass.
