I contacted Georgetown auto sales about a 2014 GMC...

I contacted Georgetown auto sales about a 2014 GMC Sierra all terrain and Ted immediately contacted me back about the truck. Well after taking a look at the truck in person and taking it on a test drive, everything seemed normal and I bought the truck. I seemed to know more about the trucks on the lot than he did after he couldn t answer half the questions I asked him about the truck. Well a week and a couple days after having the truck I m going down the highway at 70 MPH and go to step on the brakes and the brake pedal sinks to the floor, I have absolutely no brakes! After safely maneuvering my friend and I off the highway, I barely got it stopped in a parking lot and had to throw it in park at 25 MPH. I got out the truck and looked under it and the whole brake caliper fell off and busted the brake line which is why the other brakes would not work as well. The service department Is completely a fault and did not tighten the brake pins down or do a safety inspection before I took the truck off the lot. Keep in mind, they had a whole extra day to do this, I put a down deposit on the truck the day before and came back and got it the next afternoon because I needed someone to drive me there. ALL THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT CAN DO IS MOUNT TIRES AND SPRAY RUSTOLEUM. It seems they have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever and should be ashamed of themselves for putting someone s life in danger. The truck started having electrical issues as well, it would lose power at any given moment and just shut off on me. This situation made me cancel my service contract with this shady business. Whenever I told them I wanted to cancel my service contract It took multiple emails over the course of a week for Ted to officially tell me that he would cancel it. They told me the 2700 dollars I paid for it would go towards principal on the loan. Well 8 weeks later when I saw nothing go towards the loan, I contacted Ted yet again asking about it and got a BS excuse. After a total of 11 weeks later they finally sent me a refund check for the cancellation... better late than never I guess. All in all, this place absolutely sucks. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone that enjoys being alive because if you buy a truck from here.... you just might lose your life.
