I stayed at Parc 55 about a week ago while in SF for the weekend. While I can't say anything bad about the hotel itself, I will warn you of the hotel surroundings. While walking back from a night out, I decided to stop at the 24hr food spot right next to Parc. After I got my food I was crossing the street to the hotel and was jumped by a group of people because I refused to give them my wallet. This all happened right in front of the hotel.
After they took off I walked up to the hotel security with blood all over my face, and explained to them how frustrating it is that I can't cross the street of the hotel to get food with out being jumped and robbed. All they could really say was they are frustrated as well, and its an ongoing problem with the people that hang around the hotel. It seemed like some of these people just hung out there knowing there was tourists like my self that they could try and intimidate into handing over money.
