legalism is when you impose law on today when Christ completed and ended the law, lots of rules here, I attend each sunday morning and evening. I tried to volunteer for esl club where you just speak with spanish speaking people so they can learn english and you can learn spanish. but they said I couldn't do it because I am not a member. A waste of time because I was looking forward to it, and went through a bunch of emails until I found out it wouldn't work due to non member status. When I was trying to graduate Moody Bible Institute back in 2003, Moody needed me to be a member of a church as a requirement to graduate, but Armitage told me I had to give ten percent of my income if I was a member and if i signed a form saying i would tithe, requirement for membership, and didn't tithe, I would be a liar. So i never became a member there, I left to Moody Church. I ended up graduating Moody Bible Institute in 2005, and went back to california. I moved back to Chicago this year, and still don't like how they are, but neither does God. And God died for my sin on the Cross when I didn't deserve anything good and rose from the grave. By grace through faith without works I have all in all. I am in Christ and I don't appreciate legalists imposing anything in the Law of Moses on the Christ Body Church. Thats exactly what they do at every service I have ever attended there. This is not going to change. I still attend.
