Called them a half hour before they closed because...

Called them a half hour before they closed because our elderly dog had started to wimper and we could tell she was nearing the end and we did not want her to suffer all night. The person who answered the phone put us on hold to talk with the vet and when she returned she told us the vet had two other surgeries to do and was wanting to get done at a decent hour and probably wouldn t get to us. You could tell she felt bad about it and in the politest way possible she let us know the vet wasn t willing to stick around for our dying dog. It certainly didnt give me any confidence that they re willing to go out of their way.
