Hi,

Hi,
Replaced our old steel dock with a new FLOE L-shaped sectional dock. The family was initially unsure whether we needed a new dock, but now they praise my wisdom (or at least acknowledge it). I'm also happy I spent the money on the extra's: Bumpers, ladder, stairs, bench, cleats, corner piece, and Kayak racks. Fit and finish is excellent. I helped install it, which was easy, so I'm expecting the take-out to be easy as well, especially because of the "quick-attach" system - all the extra pieces come off easily by just undoing some finger-tight jam screws. Leveling was also easy because of the top-addressed leveling nuts (I had to go buy my own 1 1/8" socket for take-in this Fall. Floe, I suggest you just include that $5 part in any new dock purchase, along with this idea: a set of Allen wrenches on a mounting that FLOAT when you drop them). It means there are no posts sticking up above deck-height (and thus why I got the cleats for tying off boats). We have a vista, so the roll-in version wouldn't have worked. It took a long time this summer to get all of the pieces, but I'm attributing that to COVID affecting manufacturing. Most nights finds us on the dock enjoying the sunset, and we didn't do that on the steel dock.
