Who's ever put beets on a pizza? How about chickpeas? Ryan, the owner of The Village Flatbread, has and they're delicious. My personal favourite is the Montgomery salad (tomato and chickpea with basil and mint) and a Shaganappi pizza (Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Spinach, Sweet Bell Pepper, Red Onion, Goat Feta, Tomato, Kalamata Olive) but I switch out the onion for hot banana peppers which is a very filling meal for two.
