Mr. Guy Review of TYM tractor

I was going to buy a used TYM that needed dust covers for the tie rods so I ordered these through the closest dealer. The first part that the dealer ordered was not the part I wanted. I sent a picture and they ordered the right parts but only for one side of the tractor. I called again and they ordered the second set. One of the parts in these orders had to be shipped from Korea causing a 2-3 week delay each time. Each order cost over $20 in shipping (more than the price of the parts). When I declined to pay the shipping on the third order (because they should have ordered two sets to begin with) the dealer angerly told me never to order parts from them again and hung up on me. Getting parts were such a hassle I decided not to buy the tractor. So then I tried to return the parts to TYM USA. They told me I had to work with the dealer to get a refund. That isn t going to happen. All this is to say, TYM might be a fine tractor but you might want to stick to an established brand with a solid network of dealerships and readily obtainable parts.
