We had Charles Brown do some work for us. We paid a $1000 per request as a retainer. He did the work he promised. The quality of work was 100%. He wrote the letter very quickly. He sent the letter in, and after ignoring us for some time, the City of Tempe Police and the City of Avondale Police agreed with the position we had taken all along without him. But, with him, they changed their policy and agreed to our (correct) interpretation of the law.

So, quality was good, results were good, and pricing was good. Attorney's are never free, and a good part of that is the high cost of becoming one.

But, like the dentist sometimes you need to go. I got good results from Charlie Brown. I'm mentioning this because there were some negative reviews, and I have nothing negative to say about Mr. Brown or any of my other interactions with Udall Shumway other than that lawyers always strike me as expensive.
