A must see! This is what you come to Athens to see. Absolutely amazing! Seeing this from the ground and then making your way to the top to get as close as possible to view these structures and to immerse yourself in the history. Wonderful walking experience. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. If you know what day you're going to visit, buy your tickets early. If you have an open schedule and are not sure what day to visit, the lines are long, but it may take only 10 or 15 minutes to get in. Only found one ticket booth open and one self serve open.
