I feel bad that as a long-time Seattle resident, this was my first trip to MOPOP (what used to be the EMP). The building (interior and exterior) is obviously stunning but I was also really impressed by the number and scale of exhibits!

I will note that a fair amount (probably a majority) of the 'pop culture' references are ones that probably the 35+ crowd would understand better. I still enjoyed it but do I think my dad would take twice as long going through the museum? Absolutely. (For reference, it took my friends and I probably 3 hours).

Highlights of this visit: Star Trek Exhibit, Fantasy Book Exhibit (takes you through elements and examples of fantasy books) and Horror Movie exhibit (I don't even like horror movies but it was really interesting).
