Review of New System Laundry

Beware!

Beware!
I have never written a negative review but feel a responsibility to warn other surgery centers and health care facilities about our experience with New System Laundry.
The following is based upon both my experience but more importantly upon 2 RN Operating room managers and our Quality Assurance Surgery Center Consultant
The main problems were:
1 Multiple Laundry items returned with hair on them
2 Multiple items with foreign bodies including tape attached
3 Items with tire marks on them
4 Items with objectional odors smelling like dirty water
5 Multiple items returned with tears in them
6 Multiple items folded poorly making them appear wrinkled
7 Frequent blankets delivered that were threadbare
8 Items with grease stains on them
9 Lack of adequate number of available items
10 Failure to reduce excessive unnecessary inventory resulting in a much higher bill than necessary

All three of our nurses currently work at multiple Operating rooms in the Portland and Vancouver WA area and attest to the the much higher quality of the laundry service provided by other companies

To their credit our delivery person is friendly, and returns calls.

Unfortunately despite multiple emails and conversations by numerous employees the above problems continued forcing us to change vendors.

My advise for anyone considering this company is to talk with multiple Operating room and healthcare facilities regarding their experience.
