Shame on KXAN, yesterday morning it was more important for our local NBC affiliate to skip, Meet the Press in favor of an overtly politically conservative Christian infomercial from New Spring.org...While using flowery christian language, american flag images throughout the broadcast, asking for money and invisible christian images, this farce was supposed to be for my spiritual benefit?
Most importantly KXAN programmers chose to ignore the historical event witnessed by millions of viewers on all our other local network affiliates, CBS, ABC,and FOX. The event was the tribute to John Lewis, a Civil Rights Icon.
Very insensitive of KXAN especially considering our current events and nationwide demonstrations respecting Black lives and culture in our country...
