Rachel Cope Review of boardwalk Chevrolet

They've had our car for two weeks while they wait for a part. Just give us our car! They're unhelpful on the phone giving me no answers, but that's only after I demand to speak to an actual person instead of getting transferred to an answering machine. Are they expecting to keep my car for a month? At the very least, they should offer to pay for a rental car. We're $500 out for rentals and Lyfts and borrowing friends' cars. This is unbelievable.
UPDATE: It's been a month since we took our car in. (Sept 30 to Oct 30) We finally got a call last Friday that said it would be ready for pickup and that we could come anytime. So we hitched a ride there on Saturday morning, and the car was not put together. Instead we were very rudely told that it was still an open repair ticket. We had to find another ride home without our car and no promise of when we could get it back. The anti-service agent that we spoke with told us to call Ramon on Monday. So we did that. No answer. No return call. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, several times a day. No answer, no return call.
I understand that GM is on strike, but the service is absolutely horrible. We will never be doing business with Boardwalk Chevrolet again.
