An iconic place to visit if you're in San Francisco. Right now (December '18) the square and parking lot area is under construction, so it's not the prettiest site to visit at the moment. However, if you want to feel the Holiday spirit, this is the place to come.
There's a giant Christmas tree in the middle of the square, as well as an ice-skating rink.
On regular days, you can see artists showcasing their artwork too.
There are many restaurants in the area to each lunch/dinner
