Nice campsite on the mainland with a view of Venice. Toilets and showers are OK, one evening there was no water. No fixed parcels but free choice of space for tents, mobile homes or caravans.
Large cargo ships pass right in front of the square, an experience for young and old boys. The ferry (vaporetto line 16) to Venice departs 100m from the entrance. Tickets can be bought at the campsite, there is no machine at the pier.
There is a small shop (expensive) and a bar / restaurant. The nearest supermarket is over 6 km away, on non-bike friendly roads.
Be sure to take mosquito repellants with you, otherwise you will be eaten by the many mosquitoes in the evening!
