Meh
For the price they charge, the food should be so much better. So let's start with the fact that this is the second time my wife and I visited. The first time we both thought it was...meh, just ok, so we thought give it a second chance maybe it was just an off night. Verdict..nope! Meh it is! So let's start with the good:
1. I love that I can make reservations online or through the Resy app. Any place that I can do this at is a big thumbs up. Why all restaurants don't upgrade to POS systems that allow is is beyond me.
2. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive
3. The beer
4. The fries

Now the not so good:
1. We shared a pretzel appetizer. Basically it was a large Auntie Anne's pretzel. Ok but not worth $7
2. My side salad was tiny, wilted and had many pieces that were brown. I stopped after about a couple bites
3. I had a 6oz filet. Again not bad, I've had significantly better and for the price I was expecting more
4. The sides for the filet were... interesting. Little brown clumps of fried mashed potatoes? Not good
5. My wife had the brisket grilled cheese and her exact reaction...meh (seeing a trend?) She did not finish it and refused a take home box.
All in all this place is ok but could be great with some updates and tlc. I will look for it on a Gordon Ramsey or Robert Irvine show where it can be saved.
