The caverns were well lit and the tour guide was interesting and knowledgeable. The tour itself lasted a full hour and took in plenty of interesting information and caves. The mascot of the caverns, Cavog the caveman, was great with the kids and posed for pics, occasionally chasing the adults and having fun which added to the charm of the place. The 'added extras' of the brass rubbing area, tribal mask decorating, fossil finding and woodland trail were great for our kids (3 and 5). We had 50% discount vouchers through the andrex puppy points promo which kept the cost down. There's a cafe on site which we didn't try but looked pretty busy. The staff were great with the kids.
