I would leave 0 stars if I were still able to leav...

I would leave 0 stars if I were still able to leave a review. My Mother works with Greyhounds. She had a pregnant Greyhound who was having delivery issues. Two pups were blocking the birth canal keeping Mama from delivering. Their regular vet was out due to it being Sunday and Mama needed an emergency c section. First off, the emergency vet did not open until 1pm. So this dog had to lay in labor from 8am until 1pm. After waiting for 2 hours for an X-ray, finally at 330 the Vet decided yes, she needed a c section. After delivering pups, my mother received a call to come pick the pups and Mama up around 8pm. They could not keep them due to having no staff to observe them overnight even though the Vet agreed that she should be kept due to blood loss and the severity of the surgery she had just had. Needless to say, this Mama died in my Mother s car before even getting her home! This is NOT what any Vet I know would ever allow to happen to any animal! I feel this is medical neglect and this place should not be considered an emergency vet if it is not able to provide emergency care! Now there are 7 newborn pups with no Mother to care for them so who knows if they ll make it! On top of this, the bill!?! 2 grand! $2000.00 for a dead Mama and 7 puppies that now are at risk. This place needs to get their act together and stop giving people the impression that they re an emergency vet when they are in fact not. This place use to really provide amazing emergency care!
