Rex used to be an amazing facility but we've been very disappointed in the quality of care the few times we've been there. Most recently, The bathroom in the room was dirty when we checked my elderly grand mother in. When they took her for tests, rather then putting the sensors on her bed when they took them off, they were put on the floor & reattached to her when she came back without being sanitized. She can not walk,dress or get up without assistance & was in the same gown for a few days as well as in unchanged bed sheets. The water pitcher was empty & when she did have water, it was not placed within reach for her to get it nore was the drink glass. Her bladder bag was so full it looked like it hasn't been changed in some time. When asking the nurses for extra assistance with anything, at times they seemed irritated they were being asked & would look at their watch.These are just a small list of concerns. The nurses were working their tails off but they were short staffed & can't get to everyone to help with their needs in a timely manner. I would strongly suggest bringing candy stripers back to assist with some of the daily activities to see that all the patients can be taken care of. Not sure what's going on over there but I'm very dissatisfied with the lack of care given especially for the prices you pay for services.
