I went into Braeger yesterday to have them locate and fix a leak in my coolant system and repair some broken struts on my car. After having a trusted mechanic locate these issue I went to them to have them repaired under warranty. When I got there the service representative was on the phone and told me to sit down while he finished on the phone. The rep never returned to talk to me and had me sit waiting while they drove my car in without asking me any questions. Half hour later the service rep returned and told me I was crazy and that there was no leak on the struts or the water pump and he would replace it for my state of mind if I was going to make such a big deal about it. Doubting that my mechanic would send me on a wild goose chase I went to Heiser Chevy just to confirm. Hesier found and is currently fixing both issues under my warranty. I'm not sure why any dealer would refuse service to a warranty but this is clearly what was done. They did not want to service my car because it was under warranty and lied about there being a problem with my car. I hope this was an honest mistake, but the rude service and denial of an issue is unacceptable and leads me to believe otherwise. From here on out I will be driving the extra distance to go to a different dealer and I would encourage anyone else to do the same.
