My husband and I made a trip to the Kitchener La-z-Boy to look for a sofa and two chairs. Fortunately for us there was a scratch and save sale on, as well as a $50 coupon at the door. This was on top of the already sale prices for most of the store. We had a list of sofa styles and chair styles that we had already taken from the website.
Amanda approached and asked if she could help us. She showed us the sofas on our list. She explained the different features, was not at all pushy, stood back and let us do our thing, and was patient as we went from one sofa to the other. We then started the same with the recliner chairs. We took at least an hour and a half to choose the sofa and chairs. Then it was time for the fabrics. Luckily Amanda is a designer and was able to help us choose our fabrics and leather finishes. Again, we was patient and helpful.
All in all it was a 3+ hour visit. We told the assistant manager how pleased we were with our sales person. Had we gotten someone else, we may not have made a purchase today.
As of note: Double check with the store before arriving early. We called and the voice message gave us an opening time of 9:30. Because it was a special sale day, the store didn't open until noon. We made a 1 1/2 hr trip to be there for opening and had several hours to fill before the store opened.
