I initially visited the Martin Luther King Jr. site in July of 2017 while spending my birthday in Atlanta. I was extremely moved by seeing his life story and seeing the correlation between his life and how his contribution to American history affected the life of former President Jimmy Carter. I have since moved to Georgia in the latter months of 2019 and I went back for the first time in two and a half years yesterday. They went all out for the celebration of his life. There were so many people taking in the sights of this day. I can now visit this all important historical site anytime.
