Despite the current modernization, the room is cold, uncomfortable and not very practical for a family of 3 with 3 suitcases.
The breakfast buffet has lost a lot of quality and hygiene compared to the last 2 years. Until now, jam was offered in small jars, but now there are large self-service containers in which everyone can eat with licked spoons.
The toast and toaster were arranged in such a way that everyone touched the toast with either their skin or their clothing when operating the toaster. In the past, baguettes could be held in place with a white cloth lying ready when cutting. Today there is nothing left and everyone touches the baguette.
These are just a few examples of hygiene. The cleanliness of the warm buffet also left a lot to be desired.
The bar no longer has any charm. Mention should be made here of the cold concrete floor, the uncomfortable seating and the loud psychedelic music.
The food is served as if on prison trays and not on plates.
The NOVOTEL would like to be an upscale hotel and not exclusively aimed at young people. You don't see them there anyway.
At the front desk you could hear that our safe was open, although we had locked it before leaving the room. However, the fact was not checked, although we were assured of this.
This NOVOTEL has become a mass dump for travel companies. The individual tourist falls by the wayside, although he pays a higher room rate.
Under these circumstances we will not book the NOVOTEL again.
