Our group of 8 did the pirate room and had a great time. Not our first escape room, but out first one here, and I'd say they did a great job. The puzzles were fun and well thought out, with the staff constantly watching over you (via cameras) and ready to offer a hint if needed. As a word of advice though, an escape room can be a slightly stressful place for some people / families, as the time starts running out. Booking out the entire room so you're not feeling exposed in front of strangers might make your experience more comfortable. We had the room to ourselves but I can imagine that it changes the dynamic if there's other people locked in there with you, getting frustrated or pushy.
