I'm a tenant and their policy is to drop the rent check into a slot on the front door rather than pay it directly to the onsite manager at my building.

When THAT was the procedure, I'd get a receipt on the spot.

Now ...

After several days to a week after I " deliver " my payment by hand as described above, I STILL have to call the office and wait while I'm on hold until I speak to the person who handles those duties.

Worst come been is your payment gets lost in the shuffle and you get an email notification about late payment ? !

Management needs to do better .....
