I walked into this place knowing what i wanted. Well they also know what they wanted. My sale. I purchased a 2016 RAV4 SE, all these promises were made but not one was kept. They took over the loan i had on my other vehicle. Promised me it would not go through my account so long as I provided them with the registration right away. I did just that guess what (right after leaving registries i sent photo), a week later the payment still came out of my account. The finance guy i had been dealing with was on vacation. Well.. it's been just about 2 weeks and me chasing people around trying to figure out whats going on. Guess what still no refund has been put into my account.

I then brought my SUV in for service, to have the car starter and cargo matt installed.When making the appt, i advised them i needed to be at work for 8 and I would also need a ride back (told them i worked till 5 in sherwood park). Perfect they promised if i was the first one there i would be the first one shuttled. He explained they opened at 7:30 and where to go. I got there at 7 am and didn't leave there until 8.

The Driver then advised me they do not do pick ups after 5 so it would have to be before 5. Perfect so not only did they tell me it wouldn't effect my work, i was late and then had to ask to leave early.

Fine, i pick my SUV up take it home. Go to leave for work and notice the wheel is making scratching noises. I called let them know they put me through to service. I told them their shuttle was unreliable and I'm not available during the week.

The lady in service took my information and advised me the service manager would contact me. Still waiting to hear something back.... So once again, i will need to chase people down to find out whats going to happen with this now.

SOOO MUCH FRUSTRATION. This will be the last vehicle I buy from Gateway Toyota. I knew i should've went with my gut and stayed with Mayfield. Much better experience dealing with them for the short time i did.

Oh, and they also push for you to give a high rating so their numbers don't go down. So don't let that rating fool you.
