This law firm placed a civil suite against me about a month and a half ago. Rather than missing time from work and having nothing to pay anything, I made the arrangement to pay monthly on the 12th. Their form only gives two days as a choice, the 15th or 30th I think. But I agreed by phone call for the 12th and their letter stated for the 12th. It is now the 22nd and they have yet to withdraw anything. Either they don't want to be paid or their people can not perform the simpilest of responsibilities. Portfolio Recovery is 10x better than this. If you get sued by them and decide to make an arrangement, do yourself a favor and do MONEY ORDERS. That way you also have proof of your payments with the stubs that come with them and you can pay on time like you agreed too. My guess is they dont want to be paid except by garnishing your wages.
