This estate is amazing and was truly ahead of its time. I totally recommend taking the guided tour. Expect to do a lot of walking and standing, it's worth it. Look for the fire hose hidden behind a wall. The extremely large fireplace in the great hall is one of a kind and a must see.
After we finished our tour they gave us a buy one get one free drink voucher.
Oh yeah, be sure to book your tour in advance because you may not be able to get a spot if you wait until you arrive.
